Sage may be chopped fresh and is a great companion to pork, or add to pasta with a knob of butter and fresh parmesan cheese. 3g. Sow Mar-end Sep. Salvia is a perennial herbaceous plant that grows up to 50cm in height. It is native to the Mediterranean, but is grown worldwide as a garden and pot herb.
