Tomato Principe Borghese: this variety is a "mid-late" and is a vigourous plant, producing thinner skinned tomatoes with less seeds. Sow February to June in UK climate, harvesting from July to October. This variety is also known as the "Italian vine tomato". It is indeterminate, and produces small egg like fruits with few seeds. Ideal for salads or for using sliced with mozzarella, basil and olive oil and for drying for winter use. Fruits are typically 80-100g each in weight. Principe Borghese is often called 'da appendere' or to hang and can keep for months. 300 seeds. Approx 72 days to maturity.
